The Ecologic Team

EcoLogic Energy Solutions was founded by Justin Breiner, Brian Bodell and Michael Lieto in 2006. Their goal is to offer homeowners a way to dramatically reduce their energy consumption. Since air-leakage accounts for the majority of heat loss, EcoLogic Energy Solutions offers a simple solution to "tighten-up" your home, reduce utility bills, improve indoor comfort, absorb sound, and best of all, help our environment and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

We view each home as a unique challenge that requires thought and attention to detail in order to provide a customized solution. We are passionate about every job and truly believe we are helping to save the environment one home at a time. That is why EcoLogic has assembled the most experienced, detail-oriented and professional team in the industry to make sure your job is done right the first time.

Justin R. Breiner: Justin has extensive experience in small business creation as well as real estate acquisition, management and development. He graduated from New York University's Stern School of Business with a degree in Finance. One of Justin's prior businesses he is most proud of is the creation of The Cure Card - a nationwide consumer loyalty card designed to benefit breast cancer research. The Cure Card has been successful at raising more than $2 million for cancer research. Through Justin's experiences in real estate, he discovered spray foam in a most unique fashion. He unknowingly purchased a cottage that had a serious mold infestation originating underneath the floor in the crawl space. The prior owners had insulated the crawl space with fiberglass, which consequently trapped moist air next to the wood floor and rafters - the result was mold. After much research, Justin concluded that the solution would be to remove the deteriorating fiberglass and install spray foam insulation. The spray foam exceeded Justin's expectations. There was no more mold, the floors stayed warmer, and the house was significantly quieter. Amazed, Justin continued to explore and experience the incredible benefits of spray foam in many of his other properties. As they say, the rest is history...

Brian A. Bodell: A Westport resident, and one of the principles of Ecologic, has over 15 years of experience building custom and spec homes. Brian brings a wealth of construction knowledge to EcoLogic. When constructing his own home in 2005 Brian was curious about the spray foam insulation industry and decided to use spray foam in his own home. After moving into his new house, Brian immediately noticed the improved comfort, air quality and sound attenuation of spray foam. After receiving his first heating bill, Brian was convinced that spray foam would become the industry standard and helped form EcoLogic Energy Solutions in 2006.

Michael J. Lieto: Michael has been working in the spray foam industry for over eight years. Prior to working with EcoLogic Energy Solutions, he began his career as one of the first Icynene sprayers in the Tri-State area. He has worked on hundreds of homes along Connecticut's Gold Coast, ranging from architectural tree-houses to some of the most glamorous homes in America. Michael has become recognized as one of the most skilled technicians in the industry and an expert in the creation of a superior thermal envelope. His experiences have provided him with first-hand knowledge of virtually every type of thermal and air-barrier situation. Through the creation of EcoLogic Energy Solutions, Michael brings to you his expertise and solutions to your thermal and air-barrier needs. Michael is a devout animal and nature lover. His work brings him great personal and moral satisfaction, with the knowledge that each job is making a difference in helping the world reduce energy consumption.

Lori Boersma: Before joining Ecologic in 2009, Lori worked for close to ten years in the construction industry selling kitchen furnishings. Lori understands the importance of client relations and will ensure that your project receives personal attention from start to completion. It is not uncommon to see her jetting around CT and NY on estimates or up late at night responding to a customer's email. Lori's customers appreciate her prompt responses and her friendly demeanor.

Lance L. Symon: Lance joined Ecologic in the first quarter of 2009 and has been instrumental in helping us organize our operations while tackling new sales. Lance has been in the insulation industry for over 10 years and knows just about everything there is to spray foam. Whether you see him on site supervising, in the warehouse repairing trucks, or on the road meeting clients, Lance ensures that every job is done correctly and that the customer is satisfied. In addition to insulation, Lance is BPI certified and can help you look at the house as a whole.

Jeremy F. Klein: Often referred to as EcoLogic's "air traffic controller", Jeremy heads up the office at EcoLogic. Responsible for setting up estimate appointments, scheduling jobs and directing client calls, Jeremy is your point-of-contact at EcoLogic. Working in the office during the week, you'll be sure to reach a human being and not just a voicemail. In addition to office work, Jeremy is a certified HERS rater and BPI certified. Jeremy works closely with the utility companies and the customer to help obtain rebates and Energy Star certification.
